Review on 🔍 Prime-Line U 10314 Door Viewer, 130 Degree, 15/16 inch Diameter, Solid End Cap, Die Cast Housing, Glass Lens, 1 inch, Satin Nickel by Bradley Mutha

I bought this peephole to replace an old brass peephole on my front door when I was upgrading the hardware to a modern brushed nickel finish. The old peephole required a 1 1/8 inch diameter hole, and finding another peephole that would fit that hole was definitely not easy. In fact, this particular viewer is the ONLY one that fits perfectly in this space. I am very pleased to report that the optics of this viewer are excellent and far superior to the old one. I can definitely see a wide angle through the peephole and the view is sharp and clear. Unfortunately, too many viewers are distorted or out of focus, which negates the benefit of using such a viewer. The finish of this product is smooth and matches the satin nickel color scheme. Installation was as simple as connecting two pieces through a hole in the door and screwing them together. It took a few minutes and it looks great.
