More than in the trade!

The viewer is larger than the retail ones, which is why I like it. You get a large viewing area in front of the door. Easy installation.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No instructions

Exactly as described. in hardware

Excellent view of approaching people or close-up shots. Easy installation by putting a dowel in an existing hole (smaller peep hole) and then enlarging the hole with a drill.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Expensive

Easy installation, great viewer

Perfect to replace your old viewer. EASY to install - just screw the two sides together and voila, done. It required two people for the installation to get it tightened properly.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Everything OK

Found (updated)

Installed in 1 day. Looks good on the door. Now my problem is that it's fogged up inside and I don't have to get to where the fog has gone just yet so I can see through it. Has he managed to stop sweating? No problem.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Not bad

Well made, with satin sheen and low sheen.

Well made, with a matte finish and faint shine, this unit certainly isn't brushed or polished nickel to match most US15s. Spectators taller than 1/2" or 9/16" are hard to find in finishes other than brass (the base metal used here) unless a plastic "visor" is used, which is much, much bigger than a 1 inch barrel This one. It was a premium item due to the workmanship and affordability.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Volume

Hard to Find 1 " Brushed Nickel Peephole

I bought this peephole to replace an old brass peephole on my front door when I was upgrading the hardware to a modern brushed nickel finish. The old peephole required a 1 1/8 inch diameter hole, and finding another peephole that would fit that hole was definitely not easy. In fact, this particular viewer is the ONLY one that fits perfectly in this space. I am very pleased to report that the optics of this viewer are excellent and far superior to the old one. I can definitely see a wide angle…

Pros
  • Gotcha!
Cons
  • ill thought out
