Review on Voilamart Bicycle Wall Mount Hanger - Pack Of 4 Bike Storage Hooks For Garage Shed, 66Lb Max Capacity Per Single Bike by Chris Russell

Get your own mounting screws.

It's hard to get the bike up on the wall. I found that turning the handle 90 degrees works best for getting the hook through the wheel, and then turning it back straight to hang it. The bikes don't hang straight, but seem to want to lean to the left. You can work it out by adjusting it, but it's not automatic. The hanger hook is decent, but the screws are the soft brassy kind of screw that twists in half under torque. Even with a pilot hole, the screws twisted off, including one that I was trying to back out after the second and third screws had broken off in the wall. I put my screws in the wall studs. I would not feel comfortable using the drywall anchors supplied. The force vector is not straight down, where those kind of anchors could hold it, but instead is directed out, away from the wall, when the bike is hanging on it.My recommendation to the manufacturer is to do away with the drywall anchors and supply iron screws that will go into wall studs.

Pros
  • Worked well
Cons
  • Hooks may not rotate, making it difficult to hang bikes at the correct angle
