Goes with almost everything and prevents splattering in the microwave. We have a small one and this one. If it fits on the rim of the plate/bowl, great if it fits on the rim of the plate/bowl. STILL WORKS. Seriously, as long as it extends to the rim (or beyond) of a plate or bowl (or utensil) you're trying to reheat food in, it'll protect your microwave from erupting and the like. I have found (in our humble opinion and experience) that it speeds up the reheating of food and prevents it from drying out when reheating things like lasagna, meatballs, etc. Just put it in. Excellent purchase. UPDATE: We've used them almost daily for a long time and they've held up well to the wear and tear and dishwashing. I've included a picture to show all the splatters of dirt that would have ended up in the microwave if it weren't for those amazing screens. I hate cleaning the microwave - it's a pain in the ass. They contain all splashes and are simply tossed in the washing machine.
