This is a good wall mount for your bike. At this price there is no point in building it yourself. I like it for one bike, for two bikes I think it gets a bit cramped. It is very easy to hang on the wall stand with a screw. The only thing that didn't work for me was the self-adhesive foam strips. I think they are meant to serve a dual purpose. (1) To protect your wall (2) To prevent the wall rack from swinging (moving) around the single hanger bolt, which it will do because bikes are usually heavier at the back. In my case they failed after 2 days because my garage gets 115F here in Nevada so I took them off and added a simple clip and wall anchor to keep the post at the right angle. You may not care if the rack "wobbles" a little due to the uneven weight of the bike. It still works fine.
