Was looking for a solution to hang two bikes off the ground. We used to have vertical wall mounts and they took up too much space. Then I looked at the ceiling lifts and they seemed too bulky. This is an updated version of an old Allen bike rack I already had "the only difference was the colour". I would not use the screw that came with the storage tray. I made the mistake of using the one that came with my first stand and the screw broke in two when screwing it into the wall. I went to a hardware store and bought screws to mount it in a rack in the wall. I wouldn't recommend using this for two finished bikes. I chose this bike rack over two others I have ordered for two reasons: 1) Easy installation with a single screw and 2) Folds away when not in use get out of the way. I just installed it in 5 minutes and it doesn't tilt to either side. First, I lightly hammered in a small, thin nail to make sure I found the stud, and then I inserted a screw into the wooden stud and tightened it by hand. This is a good wall mount for your bike. At this price there is no point in building it yourself. I like it for one bike, for two bikes I think it gets a bit cramped. It is very easy to hang on the wall stand with a screw. The only thing that didn't work for me was the self-adhesive foam strips. I think they are meant to serve a dual purpose. I ordered this bike rack to store our bikes. The item arrived in an Amazon box which was in good condition but as soon as I opened the Revain box I saw the actual item box (photos attached) which was quite crumpled and resealed. Managed to fit 2 mountain bikes (a Gary Fisher for men, a Liv Giant for women) to the wall mount, albeit very tightly. Try different combinations and configurations to see why it works for you. Works great! Single screw for attachment. Bought two mounts. Note: The included screw broke in half when I tried to tighten it with a drill and bit. I had to buy another screw from Ace's Store for 25 cents. Not a big deal, but the screw that came with it must have been cheap quality.
