Poor quality control. The product was purchased at the end of August in order to have it "at hand" for the operation of the greenhouse. In December they were removed from storage and installed. It could not generate pressure because it was leaking at the junction of the pump housing with the mounting assembly. The bolts connecting the pump housing to the mounting assembly have not been tightened. Once these bolts are tightened, the pump will not be pressurized reliably/continuously. When it applied pressure, it shut off at 48psi. Reducing the pressure adjustment screw did not work. Pressing the pressure switch after adjusting to a lower pressure will turn off the pump. On the next cycle it shuts off again at 48psi if not tapped. The 30-day return period has long since expired. When you order this item, put it to work immediately and prepare for a return/exchange.
