I was looking for the perfect pack sack for fly fishing. I eliminated the inner laptop insert and it freed up a lot more space and reduced the weight. Sizing wise it's perfect - I wanted something that could fit under the seat in a drifting boat like the Clackacraft or Hyde - it's perfect! These pouches are lined with a thicker plastic material that really takes some effort to penetrate. Inside there are several handy pockets for phone/wallet/keys. The outside pocket is a nice addition, but be aware that while it's easily accessible, it's not waterproof enough for your phone. This bag easily fits a spare jacket, lunch, water bottle and some fishing gear. I cut off any extra straps to make it a little more streamlined.
