love this stuff! Excellent coverage! It really works on rusting NOTHING. I have rusted paper, glass, fabric, canvas - all with success. A few notes: it gets bad after a while so use it or lose it. The "paint" inside begins to rust around the rim and lid after opening and use, and the paint itself turns into a smelly mess that peels off. I've had mine for at least a few years now and it's probably time to toss the leftovers and buy a new container. I've learned that I don't have to keep buying rust activator to get iron paint to rust properly. The problem I had was that the amount of rust activator I needed far exceeded the amount of iron paint I had and I used it up much quicker than the paint itself. So now I spray iron paint with bleach, Vinegar or a salt/peroxide solution to rust it on my items (each gives a slightly different finish) and I will probably never buy an activator again. I suggest experimenting with other means of activating rust! I also just painted an object and placed it with rusty metal objects and the rust is spreading.
