🔶 6-Ounce Modern Masters ME149-06 Reactive Metallic Copper Review

It took me a little time to figure this thing out. but when I did it was fantastic. There was an old front door that the previous owner had spray painted an awful color. and started falling off. So I made the front door with that and a patina activator. people love it. it's not perfect. since it was my first project. but I would recommend trying it out on a primed piece of cardboard first. Get the look you want. and go from there.

I wanted a gutter for a pond on the end of my rain chain and I wanted it to be copper. Copper alone would cost $400 and steel $50, and that was cut. I used this product to get the copper I wanted for free. It was easy and looks wonderful, the patina spray even worked well on my copper rain chain. I may not have needed that big bottle even though I applied two coats on both sides, but now I have an extra one for other projects.

I recently used some of these paints for the first time. I renovate rental properties in the artist community so I wanted to add some unique touches. In the first block I did an accent wall using bronze paint and mixed green and blue oxidizer. In the second block, this was my second attempt. I used iron paint at the bottom and bronze paint diagonally at the top and intentionally let the bronze drops fall down the wall. love this stuff! Excellent coverage! It really works on rusting NOTHING. I have rusted paper, glass, fabric, canvas - all with success. A few notes: it gets bad after a while so use it or lose it. The "paint" inside begins to rust around the rim and lid after opening and use, and the paint itself turns into a smelly mess that peels off. I've had mine for at least a few years now and it's probably time to toss the leftovers and buy a new container. I've learned that I don't have to keep buying…

I purchased Copper Reactive Metallic Paint, Aging Green Mortar and Acid Blocking Primer together so this review is for all 3 products. When I opened the box and looked at the containers it looked like all 3 had been opened and used before - the print on the paint was damaged, there was tape around the top of the primer and aging solution and none of that.
