Review on Sound Storm EV4.400 Evolution Car Amplifier - 🚗 400 Watts, 4-Channel, 2-8 Ohm Stable Class A/B, Full Range by Charles Chambers

This 400w amp is a good factory sound upgrade. However, the 1200w amp on my subwoofer can easily overwhelm it with bass. I had to downgrade a lot. My speakers (Infinity Reference 5.25 front, JBL Reference 6x9 rear) can do more, but it works great. I have no overheating issues within a two hour drive (and it suffocates in my glove box). Overall I'm happy with the quality for the price I paid during the Christmas sale. It should retail for around $30. This was my first amp installation and I have no regrets. However, my next amp will definitely be more powerful. This amp WILL distort the audio at high volume, so use the rotary controls to adjust the gain until the maximum volume is clear. If you want something simple that gives you the best sound at a good price, buy this amp. I have no complaints about this amp for the price and advertised power range.
