Good amp for the price

I had the same noise as everyone else. I connected a surge protector to a 12V power supply, it still makes noise. I put the filter on the 12V power switch, it still makes noise. I put the 12v radio switch on top of the filter. All noise was gone, the amplifier amplified the radio noise that was not audible before installing the amplifier https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NPF6KVL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

ENGINE NOISE The best in car electronics

The product is excellent and has a lot of power. The only problem is the terrible hum of the engine. I tried everything to get rid of it, I had to put two noise filters in the audio line to eliminate it, which is ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and buy a better amp if you don't want to spend another $50-$80 on noise filters. However, after installing the filters, I really liked my amp and I'm glad I bought it. Just think of the extra parts that will be needed. That's the only reason I gave it…

  • The best in its niche

The first buzzed, the second growled! AVOID

UPDATE: The second unit started buzzing and is now sending it back for a refund. I would just avoid this device. The first one I installed had extensive feedback, although I routed each wire individually through different sections of the car (which took ages) to ensure there was ZERO potential for interference. However, I still have a fairly loud hum that can be heard even when the car is off (very quiet) as it has a direct connection to the battery. Got a replacement from Amazon and it took 10

A noisy amplifier built around cheap integrated circuit amplifiers.

This is not a very good amplifier and cannot meet the advertised specifications. I found some information about him. It uses two CD7377CZ 4-channel integrated amplifiers (there are no discrete power transistors in the amplifiers) that are only rated for 4 channels at 7 W or 2 channels at 24 W/channel bridged at 10% THD. YES, the spec says 10% THD! These integrated amplifiers are then mounted on caps rather than directly on the main heatsinks (which means they're mostly just for show). It was…

Good factory sound upgrade

This 400w amp is a good factory sound upgrade. However, the 1200w amp on my subwoofer can easily overwhelm it with bass. I had to downgrade a lot. My speakers (Infinity Reference 5.25 front, JBL Reference 6x9 rear) can do more, but it works great. I have no overheating issues within a two hour drive (and it suffocates in my glove box). Overall I'm happy with the quality for the price I paid during the Christmas sale. It should retail for around $30. This was my first amp installation and I have

(UPDATED) Early review for those with noise issues. (1-1/2 years later)

It's been over 1-1/2 years and the amp is still working fine and I'm still convinced that most of the bad ones Reviews are - these are the ones that come from a very cheap amp or the wrong connector size. I'm not the best installer, but I also bought an amplifier just to drive the tweeters and it still works. I wanted to pre-write this review based on other reviews saying it's noisy. (I've been into car audio since '97) Well. I plugged it in and I got a good wire and I found a good ground and I

GREAT amp for the whole system.

First, NO, this amp is NOT a powerhouse. This is a 4 channel full range amp that takes up almost ZERO space, has 4 channels, 1 and 2 have a high pass filter, 3 and 4 have a low pass filter and it has 2 separate RCA inputs. This combination is VERY rare and the price is very reasonable for the list of features. Let's get to the rating! I am using this amp in a "toolbox" speaker system I built. I have 2 SLA batteries connected in parallel for power supply, I use an RC balance charger as internal…

Worst amp I've ever bought!

Manual says 50W RMS x 4 @ 4 ohms. This is clearly false advertising (like any low-quality Chinese junk). There is no difference in volume level on my Clarion main unit, apart from the distortion this amp creates. Most likely it is 25Wx4 RMS. Never again will I be a cheap skateboard and buy another amp from one of those clearance companies. I just wanted a little more sound in my boat. I *probably* decided to keep this amp, but the bass was so distorted I thought my subwoofer had burned out…

Pros
  • Full range, Class A/B topology
Cons
  • Almost OK
