Review on ๐Ÿ’ฅ Bilstein Shock Absorbers 25-187632: Optimal Performance Enhancers by Carlos King

Had high hopes - then leaked and failed

I bought these Bilstein reservoir shocks because the last Bilstein shocks ran out of fluid and became virtually useless after only 18,000 miles. The new shocks shown in the photos here also quickly dumped all fluids after completing an alpine loop (about 65 miles) in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado last weekend. It was very difficult to drive on the freeway after losing fluids, and on many occasions I felt incredibly unsafe when the pavement gave way and started bouncing. I never thought these shocks could handle any antics at higher speeds. I was incredibly disappointed that they couldn't go 65 miles at 5 mph or less. Maybe they can be used if you just drive on smooth paved roads but I bought my jeep or these shocks aren't for that. I recommend these shocks or the Bilstein brand in general based on my experience. My car is a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4x4 with just over 21,000 miles.
