Bought this item to replace the original alternator on my 2000 Focus after the slip rings had worn out for about 1250000 miles. It arrived about a week later, as I said, it's brand new and looks exactly like the original Ford 6G alternator. The pulley is slightly different but still fits perfectly. A test report is included with a graph detailing the output current versus motor speed and shows that the unit is getting 60A at 1500rpm and 120A at 3000rpm which seems pretty good. It's been working fine since last week. I will update if there are any problems but I don't expect them. It works great, it's quiet and the setting is around 14.5V, which is how it should be. The price is great and actually much more convenient than refurbished models, which are often very poorly assembled.
