I'm a natural skeptic, but this little gem blew me away! Straight out of the box, it almost puts itself together. Super simple assembly AND disassembly. The suction base holds to the counter EXTREMELY well! I'm 230 lbs and couldn't budge it. We put 8 pounds of various block cheeses through it and it chewed through it all like a ticked off beaver through a wax candle. Everything, and I mean everything, rinsed clean with hot water. And it's dishwasher safe to boot. The only "problem" we encountered was caused by, of all things, how WELL it works. The grater cups, due to their smallish size, got clogged with shredded cheese fairly easily. We just had to clear it out more frequently. The vegetables we sliced, however, came flying out with no issues at all. So, just slow down with the cheese and everything will be fine. Kitchen game changer and new AWESOME gift idea for anyone that spends time in the kitchen. Super satisfied with this purchase!
