I bought these to paint while watching TV in the evening. The pencil colors are nice and you can get enough saturation for simple things that don't need high quality paint. My complaint has to do with the quality of the wood the pens are made of. It's very cheap and the pencils just don't sharpen properly. No matter what type of sharpener I used, the pencils were chewed up, the wood was rough, and it was difficult to get a good point. I would never reorder them or take them for a beginner because they might get frustrated. You must return to the drawing board in this case. I am sorry.
