Tiny hex screw to attach handle bit

I bought this to match my other kwisket handles which were easy to install. In this case, the handle is disassembled, and the instructions do not say anything about it. It turns out that a small screw needs to be turned. The doorplate was thick so the door couldn't close. I had to rip it off. The doorplate looks awful and smells like grease, but at least I have a doorknob now. The upside is that it's quieter than a similar style I bought from another brand.
