Warning! It does NOT dissolve in water. I struggle with proportion and usually just use carbon paper to get the general shapes of my subject. I have had issues in the past with ink not covering lines on carbon paper so I chose this product for its water soluble properties. I recently had a project that went in a completely different direction, having already done the routing and having to erase all the lines from my board. I've tried water, warm water, warm water with soap and even a scraper to remove some of my base paint and the trace lines still stayed. Basically I had to repaint the base layer TWICE before the lines closed. This paper works great as regular carbon paper, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything where lines need to disappear or be removed.
