BMW 750i 2014 does not work!

Are 2 of the 4 screws (per plate) too long? So now I have 2 screws half sticking out of the kit, not flush. This is not good for cymbal safety or holding cymbals securely causing other problems. I have a 2014 BMW 750i that is listed as compatible with these bolts. Will have to replace.
