Didn't work for our long term travel plans.
This tow bar mounted bike carrier is ideal for short/near town trips. We used this bike carrier a total of about 800 km. The frame mounting points for the bike itself worked poorly in wet weather, even with the mounts tightened as much as possible. We ended up having to take off two bikes and load them into the camper because the bikes kept slipping off. This made driving on the Autobahn dangerous for us and other travelers who were following us. We placed a cable lock around the main post as tightly as possible to keep the bikes in place.
