I bought the non-LED version of these speakers a few years ago and have since chosen this brand for its reliability and low price. However, we were a little disappointed by these speakers (but they did their job well, hence the 4-star rating). For reference, I bought these speakers in August 2019. Shortly after purchase (1-2 months later) the two colors of the LEDs stopped working and were replaced with green ones. It wasn't a big problem for me, just a minor annoyance, but it didn't change my relationship with the speaker. I recently noticed static coming out of the right speaker erratically. I've researched the possible causes and have unplugged, moved and plugged the system back into other outlets to no avail. I assumed the cable might be the problem, so I tried wiggling along the cable, but the sound didn't change. The right speaker no longer emits that faint white noise, but no sound comes out of it either. I have no idea what happened but it really annoys me that after only 8 months of use it broke for no apparent reason. I think you get what you pay for but I will buy another one as the cost is very low. I would recommend them and hope I just got unlucky in the silicon lottery. Edit: After contacting CA they had my speakers completely replaced free of charge and now I have no more issues. Excellent customer service!
