Product: 4 Gallon Small Garbage Bags Odorless Biodegradable Recyclable Garbage Bags Eco-Friendly Compostable These are plant based materials according to the manufacturer but in the list of materials in the product description I see plastic, cornstarch and PSM starch, I don't know what exactly. There are no recognized certifications for the biodegradability or compostability of the bags. They appear to be thinner and more elastic as seen in the attached image, so they are best suited for lighter applications in the bathroom or office. They're about 13 cents a bag, which isn't bad for a biodegradable bag, if that's true.
