Review on πŸ”§ Autel Intelligent Technology TS508 TPMS Complete Tool by Treyshaun Clena

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Save my money in the long run.

. I bought TS-508 to program my own TPMS modules. My '06 truck is showing its age and has a second set of TPMS modules. Recently I cloned a new MX module to the original spare and wrote it to the ECU with no problems. After receiving the TS-508, assistance was required to update the software. Technical support was readily available and dealt with this quickly. I used to rely on Toyota TIS for TPMS control. A recent visit to Costco for a tire change turned into a nightmare when the technician broke one of my OEM sensors and didn't know how to fix his mistake. Another visit was a waste of time as the second technician didn't know how to read the sensor ID. With this acquisition I am no longer dependent on untrained technicians. I know I'm now tied to Autel sensors for cloning functions, but now I can switch sensors without help if needed. I can also program any new OEM fixed ID sensor for the ECU. (With the recent purchase of a bead breaker, I no longer have to rely on tire shops for parts or TPMS-related issues.)

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Compatible
