Review on Denon S650H 5.2 Channel AV Receiver, 4K UHD Home Theater Surround Sound (2019) with Music Streaming, HEOS Built-in, eARC, Upgraded HDCP by Joe Patterson

The unit replaced a 20 year old Onkyo THX receiver that still works but didn't have HDMI switching and I was fed up with an external switcher with a cumbersome one remote control switch, so I bought the Denon unit. I couldn't be more disappointed with this product and the support from Denon. When setting up I couldn't figure out how to save the settings for each input, it saved my settings, then when I switched to a different input it didn't save, and when I switched back to the original input everything came back on default settings and not to my saved settings. I emailed Denon support and after a few days my support request disappeared with no response. Okay, after a few days I noticed that if I hold down the enter button it saves the sound settings for each input, no thanks to Denon. Everything was fine until after 20 days I turned on the projector but there was no picture, I checked all the connections, restarted the receiver, tried using a new HDMI cable and connecting it to a small TV, but to no avail . Needless to say, I was still within the 30 day Revains window and decided to simply return a different brand device.
