Review on πŸ”‘ Enhanced Ignition Switch by Beck Arnley 201-2063 by Charles Ahmar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I recommend purchasing plastic cable ties to secure the cables back.

I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex Coupe. I installed this with no problems, except for another five jack wire that needs to be unplugged from one (of the two) wire ports on the old switch and connected to the new port. I removed the white piece of plastic in the connector. , then insert a screwdriver into each slot of the plug, press the tab while pulling out the jack. Remove the white portion from the new connector and insert each of the five jacks into their respective slots until they click into place. Put the white plastic back in place. I recommend buying plastic cable ties to secure the old cables that you need to cut off. After that, I had a problem that consisted of the car suddenly stopping. sometimes on the freeway or in the city. The power just went off suddenly. I noticed that sometimes when I turned the key to raise or lower the power windows, I sometimes had to turn the key back and then forward to operate the windows, at which point I suspected it was the ignition switch. Within a week of installation, the problem appears to be resolved. I have driven 300,000 km, I am the first owner. I also found out in my research that they were recalled but mine seemed fine as it took so long. Excellent quality product!
