Works! Be careful though it wasn't easy to install. There were 5 more wires that had to be removed from the old harness in order to add them to this new harness.

Fixed my annoying and dangerous problem that many people have with Civics. The installation took about 30 minutes. Not 100% plug and play, but it was easy enough for anyone with basic mechanical skills and access to Youtube.

I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex Coupe. I installed this with no problems, except for another five jack wire that needs to be unplugged from one (of the two) wire ports on the old switch and connected to the new port. I removed the white piece of plastic in the connector. , then insert a screwdriver into each slot of the plug, press the tab while pulling out the jack.
