I use a reciprocating saw constantly for cutting wood, tree limbs, metal, or whatever I want to cut excepting stone and concrete. With the right blade this type saw can cut most anything. Reciprocating saws sometimes called Sawzalls or Tiger Saws - both trade marked names - are so useful when I have the proper blade for the job. This is a fine set of 15 blades for my saw which are BiMetal (BiM). That is a premium blade with 8% Cobalt to make it tough for steel cutting and improve the blade life. These can cut metal as well as nail embedded wood. DENALI is an AMAZON Brand blade so can be trusted.This set features 3 different Tooth Per Inch (TPI) BiM blades with 5 each. Included are (5ea.) 6 x .75 x .036 inch 6TPI blades, (5ea) 6 x .75 x .036 inch 14TPI blades and (5ea) 6 x .75 x .036 inch 18TPI blades in a plastic pouch. As TPI increases the blade can handle metal better- P.3 shows the pouch back with recommendations. A high TPI blade won't cut wood worth a darn and a low TPI blade won't cut metal at all (maybe a beer can though!).A tool is only as good as the bits,drills and blades you mount on it. These are an excellent value and great quality. I have one on my superb Milwaukee Cordless Hackzall in the last photo.
