They were easy to install; Just follow the instructions. I had a bit of a problem with "forcing" communication between them. It's been a few weeks since I installed it, but as far as I remember the problem was that when the instructions say to hold the button down for '2 seconds', it actually says '2 seconds' " means - no more and no less! I work from home using my loft as an office. The (I think) webcam I use for video conferencing was overloading my home wifi and causing a lot of connection issues even after I disabled (as far as I could) everything else on my wifi. I also tried the WiFi mesh system, which solved some other annoying problems, but not the problems with video conferencing. But using them to inexpensively disconnect my work devices from my wifi did the trick!
