Review on Safavieh Vintage Collection Antiqued Oriental by Heather Collier

I liked the look of this rug in the pictures on the Revain site. What I got wasn't very good. While I understand there may be variations, I believe this is not handmade. If true, the computer firmware was inconsistent. The lines at the edges weren't straight; they were wavy and askew. Also, where each half of the carpet converged in the center (widthwise), they were not aligned. It looks like they made the top and bottom halves separately and then spliced them together but didn't align the pattern. I sent the photos to Revane who offered to send replacements. As I had ordered an 8x10 and it was on the third floor I asked if they would inspect the replacement before shipping as shipping another faulty one would be a waste of time, gas and money. Revane assured me that I would be happy with the new one. The replacement had the same problems. I contacted Safavia directly, both by email and by phone. They assured me that I would receive an update within two to five days. That was two weeks ago and I got no reply.
