Works great. Lots of heat and better than a lightbulb that stays on all the time. We've been using it for over a month and it's still working like the day we got it. All bulbs eventually stop working and when this one stops working I will order that particular bulb again. I wish I had seen this information in a review when deciding which heating pad to order: A 40 gallon breeding tank is fairly common in bearded dragon enclosures. This light bulb has a power of 100 watts, and this is not enough to heat the body sufficiently. I suggest a 150 watt light bulb to keep a bearded dragon warm in a 40 gallon aquarium.
