Ideal for granite dust/sand in well water.
I clogged paper screens after 2-3 weeks. I installed this setup for 1 month and it catches most of the sediment so my other filter has an expected life of 3-6 months. The sediment catcher wringer offers enough space for depositing sediment and saves frequent rinsing of the filter. So far the filter has not had to be rinsed clean for 1 month. The strainer doesn't clog and I didn't notice that this filter reduces the water pressure. Good product.
