Review on 🐆 Moxi Skates - Trick Wheels - Roller Skate Wheels - 4 Pack of 55mm 97A Wheels, Leopard Print by Dan Hansen

I was really excited about these wheels as they seem to fit my Moxi Jungle skates perfectly and it would be great to train them again (returning to skating after many years; trying to pick up tricks I knew from ATVs and roller skates). First, it is very difficult to insert bearings into these wheels. Maybe my set was special, but it took me about an hour to install the bearings in all eight wheels (using a Bones bearing puller) and it sucked. I'm pretty sure I won't get her back, not that I want to at the moment because damn it. I put them on two days ago and my hands still hurt. We went to the ice rink. The first thing I noticed was they were SO MUCH slippery. I know these are stunt bikes and I understand suspension/traction/rotation etc but wow. These wheels seemed to have little to no grip, which is really confusing when trying out new tricks. Every rink I've been to has carpet - they were VERY difficult to walk on and neither fun nor pretty to walk on. And on the rink itself - Phew. To be honest I felt like I could feel every groove on the floor. I love skating and can't wait to start skating again (with my daughter on her first pair of quads) but I'm putting my Sonar Demons back on my skates - they don't fit me at all. Three stars because they look really cute on my skates!
