This is a great cotton rope that is suitable for crafts and other decorations. It's nice and soft, naturally off-white or almost white, and seems to me to be of good quality. I think it would be great to do a rope basket and I think I'll try that later. Anyway, if you have rope baskets or other crafts in mind, I recommend this cotton rope. Edit Update: I am correcting my star rating now that I have experience with this rope. It has a soft feel, which is nice, but as soon as I tried sewing it into a basket it started unraveling. It's like the rope itself is woven too loosely to hold its shape when you try to sew it together. In fact, I don't think this rope will stand up to intensive craft projects. If you just want to tie some curtains to it or make a pendant this will work, but for sewing baskets I would look elsewhere.
