Leveling feet look great. And I think they fit and work perfectly in any piece of softwood furniture. Unfortunately, the threads on the heads are too wide to properly fit hardwood. Drilling the recommended diameter hole for hardwood will split even the thickest furniture legs as soon as you start tightening the bushings. I split one leg, then tried to drill a little wider, split the other leg and finally drilled the full diameter of the bushing and epoxy in place. This solution worked, but finer threading on the jack would have been a lot easier. Considering most furniture legs are made out of hardwood, I'm surprised they chose this carving pattern.
