UPDATED: UTOPIA support is EXCEPTIONAL - dare I say "utopian" ". While the issue with this pot and listing for induction was not their fault, they resolved the issue in a way that has created a loyal and grateful customer for life. This customer-centric mindset deserves recognition, it's so rare and so effective. OOPS - didn't work with induction even though I specifically checked for induction on the pan side. The pan is from the same manufacturer and the bottom is induction - so it's deliberately confusing. If the underside looks the same and the product is on the INDUCTION SPECIFIC LISTING, it must be induction. Luckily I have another application for a pot that works on a gas burner. THIS WAS NOT A Utopian MISTAKE - IT IS AMAZON'S MISTAKE. I bought a new burner for an induction cooktop and then searched for pots and pans by pressing the INDUCTION button on the left. This article appeared in the list - visually the bottom corresponded to a pan. At first I thought if it didn't work on an induction torch maybe it was too small in diameter - really had to look at the description to see it wasn't induction compatible. AMAZON is to blame, not UTOPIA - just fix it.
