Very nice 3D model

I enjoyed building this wooden 3D model of a 19th century European steam locomotive. I wish someone would make one out of an American locomotive, but it's a very nice display. This is not a toy, not for small children. I had a few issues with assembly despite being an experienced modeller and model railroader. This is not a standard scale railway model. This is 1:80 scale, somewhere between HO scale and O scale. Miniature pieces of plywood are strong and can usually be easily removed from precision laser cut panels. Some had to be cut from leaves with a stationery knife. Most parts need sanding on the edges and some of the protrusions need sanding with the included fine sandpaper, which wasn't enough. Most of the pieces snap together and hold together well, but I had to attach some with CA glue (superglue). I only broke off a small part out of 300+ parts, but there are many extra parts, especially those that are easy to break or lose. Part numbers, except for the smallest. You must follow the order of the instructions carefully as it is easy to skip a step if you are not careful. This is my third wooden 3D model. I enjoyed collecting this model and I will definitely collect more.
