decent studs, I have no idea how they accomplished it, but despite my tough driving style and frequent use of asphalt, only 5 studs on the front wheels were gone after two seasons. Everything is in place on the rear tires, so the choral characteristics on a slick road do not degrade. If anything, the same tenacity should last for three seasons before I replace it the following time.
