When I opened the box I was very impressed with the value for money. It can't be a 600 watt amp. RMS 60-70 at best. At the same time, the device is still very noisy. You don't have to turn the volume up to the max. I currently have this unit installed on a 2014 Softail. I drive with a windshield so I installed the amp and all the cables in a windshield bag. I attached the volume knob to the top of the windshield bag and started digging through some old guitar parts for a larger volume knob. The device that comes with the device is quite small and difficult to use with gloves on. In general, this is a very good device for its price. There isn't much negativity here. There is one BIG downside. Mounting brackets are NOT available. If BOSS had to increase the price of the device by a few dollars to provide better mounting brackets, I'm sure no one would mind. ***Update*** I removed the speakers from the steering wheel and integrated everything into the windshield pocket. Much happier with this look. The system still works great!
