Review on 🐠 Efficient Macro Aqua M-50 Mini Hang-on External Protein Skimmer for 60 Gallon Tanks by Heidi Young

It fits nicely in my 55 gallon aquarium. I ordered this skimmer because I wanted to use the middle compartment of the sump to fit the refugium. It takes a few days to work properly. Once it builds up enough protein on the vesicles, it begins to work as intended. Very easy to set up. The company has already added an overflow to the box, which comes in handy when you're on the go and worried about a potential spill. Note that the performance of skimmers depends on the water quality in your aquarium; So if your water is dirty it will produce a lot of dirty foam, and if your water is relatively clean it won't produce much foam. I'm not sure why there are multiple holes on the filler cap that cause the foam to come out there instead of going straight to the overflow. Hence the 4 stars. Would recommend to anyone with limited pallet space. Coupled with a well-tuned refugium, your filtering will work just as well as mine.
