An engraver as easy to use as a pencil

I was looking for an engraver that was easy to use and not bulky. I have a Dremel and Bosch multi tool, but they are very cumbersome when I want to do something "delicate" on the material, like write my initials or create a design. I have small hands and feel uncomfortable with them. I tried this engraver mainly because it was very portable and looked like it could easily be held like a pencil. The engraver comes in a handy box (if you've bought anything from Revain before, you know why this is important) 😊). Directions are on a page on the back of the box and are briefly described. It uses 2 AAA batteries and comes with two engraving tips (it's the same tip, just one interchangeable). There is also a small screwdriver that can be used to change tips. I changed the tips and it literally feels like a 20 second process, very smooth and easy. I was right in thinking this engraver would be easy to use - you hold it like a pencil and "write" your initials on everything. Do you like it. I tried it on a wooden bowl that I wanted to put my initials on and it worked great. I didn't have to press very hard and it's very little, if anything, messy (just some dust that I wiped off with my finger). It's not super loud either. Sounds like a very angry mosquito 😊 It also comes with a set of stencils which I used on the shell to engrave a small lotus flower just to see how it would look. I have also used it to engrave my initials on my favorite Stanley tape measure because it seems to "disappear" on its own and I am mysteriously finding it in my relatives' homes. Anyway, I love this little engraver because I can just pick it up and engrave something in seconds and it doesn't take up space in the workshop. piece of wood, unnecessary metal, etc.). As with all crafting items, you must grope for the tool, before you can fully immerse yourself in the material that is important to you.
