Great OBD scanner plus so much more AND MANY ABS UNITS WILL BLOOM

Update: Since purchasing I've seen it available with coupons for $20 below list price of $228 is, and I saw him in a flash offers for $40 less. grumbling. I also remember last Christmas they had a limited time offer. I could cheat the system, return it, turn it around and buy another one, but it's worth the list price and I'm the one to blame for my impatience. Bleeding the brake lines has been a problem for as long as anti-lock braking systems have existed, as air trapped in the ABS drive module cannot be bled. The guys with the $1,000 scanners could do it because they had two-way communication with the car's computers. This one does too! The procedure is to bleed the ABS module first (you will hear how it works). This forces air into the brake lines. Then bleed the brakes as usual. This scanner provides a wealth of current and historical data for MANY vehicles. Updates are free. You can print out your results if needed. NOTE: If you have a non-US car, use the questions section to see if it has an ABS module bleed function for your car. ALSO: It looks like the company made a mistake with one of their software updates, and some people are getting units that don't have the ABS module bleed feature. To fix this, go to the company's website and simply update the software to the latest version and you're good to go. At around $230, it's an expensive OBD and data reader, but the brake bleed feature is worth it. I'm a little surprised they didn't put this feature in bold because it's the only feature that sets them apart from scanners and is worth the money. Suddenly you have good strong brakes again and you don't have to pay a mechanic to finish the brake job you just did! The instruction book covers a lot and is easy to read. For DIY, it has all the features you could ever need or use and understand. There is a great video on YouTube that shows how bleeding works. The guy has an affiliate link so use it to make him feel like letting the world know this scanner has this awesome feature. For some reason the manufacturer hasn't grasped the fact that this is the only feature that makes it worth what they're charging. I recommend it unreservedly.
