Review on Lenox Portola 65-Piece 🍴 Flatware Set: Elegant Metallic Dining Collection by Marcel Robinson

Hi guys, this is the second set I have received. I really like the cutlery and would give it 5 stars but had to return the first batch due to the way it was packaged and about 20 pieces were missing. The whole thing was just loose in two small boxes in the main box and made a lot of noise when I picked it up. I think they must have sent me a set that was previously returned. I don't think they did it out of malice - most likely they were just in a hurry and didn't notice the terrible rumble coming from the box. I requested a return which was almost no problem and they sent me a new package very quickly. Received a new set today and what a difference! The package made no fuss when I picked it up, and when I opened the main box there was a display connector in a small hole inside, as if inviting you to open the box and experience the anticipation. Unpacking and organizing and the joy of owning a new cutlery set that Mrs. County and I have enjoyed together before. One day she and I bought a whole bunch of very nice silverware and were intoxicated with the excitement of having a full set of adult items. Then we opened the crate in the same way I open the current crate. Unfortunately, Mrs. County and I recently split up and she decided to take it upon herself to pick up the entire silverware collection from home while I was away from work. Well, that's another story. Mrs. County and I have been through this before and it just breaks my heart. I'm sure this time Mrs. County will be just a memory in future Revain reviews. Well when I opened my new box there were two small boxes inside, neatly packaged with each individual dish in a separate plastic bag, all carefully grouped into each dish type with rubber bands. The presentation was at the top in contrast to the first batch and that is important. The first batch had no plastic bags, no rubber bands, a whole bunch of parts were missing, and as I seem to have mentioned, it made a horrible rumble when I shook the package. The second pack was silent even when I shook it, which is to be expected. I unfolded each piece and counted them along the way and as if nothing had happened they were all there. This is a good sentence. I put them all in the dishwasher and turned them on before putting them in the drawer because you never know who packed these little guys - As they say on the farm, pick your nose, pick the strawberries. Better wash the strawberries. Well, most of the story is happy. The second set of cutlery is simply the best, sitting securely on a tray in a drawer in the kitchen. I'm glad I bought this set and I'm sorry I couldn't click the 5th star but I think that's what the 4th star is for. It's an asterisk when you're happy with a product, but the experience could have been better. All in all I recommend this set and think I will enjoy it for the rest of my time on this planet.
