This board is amazing! I really enjoyed using it. My setup: Hifiberry DAC+ ProRaspberry Pi 3B2.5 Amp USB power adapter 128GB USB stick Volumio Raspberry Pi image (free) Exact Audio Copy (free) to rip CD to FLAC files (lossless audio) MP3tag (free) to edit file tags (optional but makes it easier to find your music) Audacity (free) to convert my iTunes music to MP3 or FLAC as needed. It's a "headless" system, which means I don't connect it to a display. . Instead, I control it with my phone or tablet. The system creates a web page on your network, so you don't need an app to manage the device. ProsGreat sound. It has RCA jacks, so you'll need an external amplifier and speakers. I use a bookshelf receiver and speakers. Great control over the music. I have about 300 CDs on a USB drive. Cons: Documentation is hard to find. Get ready to look for it online. There aren't many useful YouTube videos on this device. Hifiberry has several links on their website. But I had to go to Volumio to find an image for Pi.
