Low cost and ease of use
Nylon protective case, magnetic mount (want stronger magnets/stronger mount), standard 1/4-20 thread mount for tripods, very light, easy to use. Not pro class but it works for me. Low price for a useful tool. The photo shows a vertical laser used to align screws in a ceiling.
