Was about an inch smaller for our 30 gallon tank but stays in place with clips. It is high quality but not well suited to the 30 meter aquarium we put it in for our Kenyan sand boa. Normally Fluker Labs products are my favorites and I would highly recommend them, I think and hope it was just a manufacturing "accident" (pun intended). However, I recommend their products!
