Review on 🔧 uxcell New Thermostat Housing Assembly with Sensor 11531437040 for BMW E39 530, E46, X5 - Black by Steven Ferguson

So I got this 2 weeks ago. Just put it on. Worked fine until yesterday, no problems. It got hot briefly, then back to normal. Fast forward to today. ride is ok On the way home it starts to overheat. I replaced everything in my cooling system one at a time when it used to fail until I replaced this thermostat. The overheating used to be intermittent so I started with the fan, coolant flush/bleed and temp gauge and finally the thermostat as the intermittent overheating felt more like a non-working fan to me than a slow thermostat shutting off. Fans work well. I just checked the fluid level before leaving as it went up a lot yesterday. Just ordered elsewhere. Get it faster than waiting for a replacement from the seller. Maybe I got a bad one based on most of the reviews but now I'm out 2 days until I get another one.
