Fun gimmick but flawed design
I used these to make ice cubes. They are smaller than I expected. It’s difficult to get a perfect skull ice cube. The water leaks out the edges of the skulls because the mold doesn’t seal tight or have something that interlocks on the side. This can make them hard to get out and give the skulls messy edges around the face. It seems like other reviewers have had success with more viscous liquids like chocolate which I plan to try.
- I don’t drink, but I use them for iced tea. Excellent to keep your tea cool and not watered down!!
- The mold may be difficult to separate from the freezer
