It does not work well.

This glue works well for gluing leather but not what the reviews recommend. I bought this glue to stick my patches on my biker vest. By the way, that's not possible. This glue secures the patch but does not keep it on the skin. In fact, the adhesive peels off both the skin and the back of the patch. It doesn't matter if the skin is smooth or not. I did a test run on perfectly smooth leather and the patch came off easily, as did the glue from the leather and patch. I decided to use it anyway to attach my patches and then sew them on. It somehow works for that.
