I measured twice and trimmed once but there was still a tiny gap in my 10 gallon aquarium. I had to separate my small African Dwarf Frogs (only about 0.5 inch long) from the adults. They kept escaping the tiny breeding box I kept them in. I thought this would be the perfect way to give them more space. I installed it with long battens above the waterline after trimming the curved end to fit the bottom snugly. The board is nice, clear, it's easy to cut with sharp scissors. Set up. Watched the frogs very happy to be out of the box. I sit down to watch me work and suddenly I see a baby swallowing air from the adult side. Couldn't figure out how he got through until he saw one slip through the rail. Still figuring out how to connect the edges. I would buy it again for larger water animals but the ADF is too slippery.
