Review on 🔒 OPTIMIZED - PORTER-CABLE 517 Lock Face Template by John Ramsey

I have several Porter cable tools that I really like. However, this template is a complete piece of junk. I didn't read any of the reviews when I ordered this because I was sure of the brand of porter cable and thought it would be fine. Well I was very disappointed to say the least. After receiving it and seeing that it was rubbish I went back and read the reviews and most seemed to agree. Firstly, installing it close to where you want to cut is almost impossible. There's so much side play that you can't make an accurate cut. The second problem is that when you actually mount it where you want it, the screws that hold everything in place aren't tightened enough to keep it straight. The price of this template is really quite high - $235. My honest opinion is that it is totally unusable and I have sent it back for a refund.
